@MacNaBracha While this is a scandal and I'm not making excuses for #Labour, this sort of thing will continue until we make it illegal for political parties to receive ANY MONEY AT ALL except from the state.

My own proposal would be for the state to issue each registered elector, each year, one token, which the elector could then give to the political party of their choice (or destroy). The political parties could then cash in these tokens, and that would be their sole income.
