Make WordPress Test

@hgg Already read your comment on make.wordpress.org. 😊

#TT5 looks interesting, but I‘ll stick to #TT4. Although, I‘ve updated to #WordPress67 beta1 already to explore the possibilities of the new (post) format filter in the Query Loop Block.

First action - 20 sec of work - I changed the query for my quote section on my starting page. It used to filter the tag „quote“ now it filters the post format „quote“.

The first step to get rid of tags that separate types of posts.

@NickBohle
I will also stay with TT4 (for the time being). The migration of templates from TT4 to TT5 is also a big issue. There is currently no (automatic) option. I will start testing today. Thanks for the info on the query loop block.

@hgg @NickBohle
There probably will be no reason to update from TT4 to TT5 (or from any block theme to another block theme, for that matter).

After all a block theme is little more than a configuration file for the site editor.

The only reason for changing a theme I can think of off hand could be that you want to use the patterns coming with that theme.

@pmmueller @NickBohle
Not only the patterns, but also the use of new options (see, for example, TT5). I suspect that these options are not (or no longer) included in the other standard block themes. In this respect, a migration could be interesting. But it is currently very time-consuming.

@hgg @NickBohle
Oh yes, you're right.

Most of the new features I like seem to be part of the Editor and should therefore also be available in other block themes.

However, e.g. the five or so section styles to quickly change a group block are definitely part of the theme and will be gone.
