How embarrassingly ironic that we let a minuscule minority of #sociopaths destroy the habitability of our #planet in their quest to profit from machines that think better than we do -- when the most important moral, ethical, and subjective questions can't be answered by machines because they mimic the sociopaths that built them.

I don't know enough about AI, but what I've been able to glean so far is that, as you say, one can design these things to mirror the toxic values of our sociopathic elites, which doesn't seem like a good development
@LeftistLawyer They don't think better, they parrot what they guess humans would say based off of an amount of training data that individual humans could not process. Using the word mimic is apt.
It seems inevitable training data gets contaminated with AI generated nonsense, and that'll lead to even more problems.
Humans are also getting contaminated with AI nonsense like fake mushroom identification (my favorite example), which is another AI-inflicted problem
