@BobLefridge , I think he should never have been in this position in the first place. (He's still wondering whether a capital gains tax etc is a good thing, hellooo, waky, waky).
Grant Robertson would have done a way better job, I guess.
What Hippkins ought to do is gracefully make place for someone else asap.
And the whole labour party needs to get their act together.
Possibly the bad news from the coalition government are coming so hard and fast there's no place for anything else atm.

Grant Robertson 100%. But that bird has flown, to Otago Uni's advantage.

I fear that Labour has lost their oomph as well as their mojo. If they stick with Hipkins there's a good chance they could lose the next election.

My pick of the current crop is Kieran McAnulty.
