#Banana yields fruit only once, afterwards the whole tree has to be discarded. It creates a lot of waste without #upcycling e.g. into #BananaFibre, one of the most absorbent #fibres available.
Current innovations aim to use this fibre for #textile (jeans), but it could be used for so much more, e.g. producing #biodegradable and #compostable #SanitaryPads.
