@LeatherCubAndrew i'm as sceptical of Adams as anyone - like i've been waiting for his inevitable indictment for years now - and i'm not sure. depends on whether miles guo (bannon's bestie, probably a chinese spy, arrested ~1.5 years ago for money laundering not that long after bannon was arrested on his yacht) is involved, which i suspect but have no concrete evidence for (so far).
it's tempting to think guo is involved (and he definitely might be involved!) but IMHO the slightly more likely scenario is probably just standard corruption endemic to any one party city or state, probably involving some of NYC's more prominent voting blocs and not chinese spies. but we shall see i guess.
@cryptadamist well don't forget that the Clintons and the Trumps were both buddy-buddy for a while. So, I'm thinking about something more in line with greed, wealth, and social status.
And don't forget about the connection between former Illinois democratic governor Blagojavich and Trump either. Since Trump pardoned him after served time for trying to sell Obama's senate seat.

would guess adams isn't even the first domino. seems likely that the collapse of FTX lead to the collapse of silvergate which lead to the arrest of Miles Guo. also remember that SBF and #EricAdams were buddies.
