As Death Rate Surges, Texas Asks Supreme Court to Let It Keep Denying Care to Pregnant Women

As maternal mortality spikes, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton charges ahead with an effort to prevent doctors from providing emergency care.

I read an article the other evening which resonated pretty hard with its explanation of declining birth rates in Western countries, and it suggested that birth rates have fallen as life expectancy, and the quality of neonatal and maternal care, have risen.

Which, you know, makes sense. When more of your kids are going to survive their first year, you don't need so many to replace the dead ones.

So I expect a renewed surge of pregnancies, especially teen pregnancies, to occur when millions of babies are being systematically murdered by Paxton & Co. Pro-life, indeed.
