oh well … a tree on the tracks, so having to take another route to Hannover, missing my planned connection. So I'll be in Aachen about an hour later ):

on the bright side: I'll likely not end up stranded in Hannover, just late and even later at every point after that
(and from Hannover, I should be able to get to NRW and Aachen somehow, even if there were problems with the next connections)

Delays are adding up. On the bright-ish side: I likely won't miss the regional train, as it is >15min late as well. (And somehow doesn't have decent data in bahn.expert?! o.O)
edit: maybe I should be careful with stating things like that? Somehow, Cologne Central has its own weird kind of magic/curses … somehow finding a way to manage, especially when unexpected

Adding nearly another half an hour of delay to my arrival in Aachen … *sigh*
Bonus points for spontaneous last-minute change of platform.
Maybe this is enough delay for two passenger rights forms? (but seriously … this time DB will have to pay! No way to reduce the delay at the last few stops so it comes in just below the threshold … )
back home, finally!
Also noticed I could use a few calories, but don't have the mental capacity for cooking right now. But … found vegan ice cream in the freezer :3
