@Knitronomicon I'd seen WGAC, and it looked good, but it would take me a long time to get through the minimum 12 roll order!

However, Ocado - who I shop with - now stock Cheeky Panda, which is also a 100% bamboo toilet roll. 4 for £4.60, so a comparable price, I think. I love the quality of the paper, especially compared to the cheap bog-roll I was previously buying.

I've also also switched to bamboo kitchen towel, also by Cheeky Panda.

@filklore Yup, it'll take me a while to get through 24 rolls! But I've been using PetalSoft Quilted from Iceland, about £4.50 or £5 for 9 rolls, 1 roll lasts about 2 weeks; but they dropped it from 160 sheets per roll to 150 this year, same price, & I lost a whole 9-roll pack to the flood in June. I'd used the WGAC bamboo at Ruth's, so I've decided to give it a try, at least. Ruth buys the Cheeky Panda bamboo tissues.
@Knitronomicon @filklore I have no storage for a WGAC order. I like the idea, but a 9 pack from Lidl takes up a lot of space in my hall closet - and A Certain Person dislikes my habit of "stocking up" (possibly reminds him of his mother, who used to buy pallets of tinned veg and other non-perishable goods at the Cash and Carry and store them in his bedroom)
@wolfette @filklore Yeah, Mum used to say we should have a nuclear-war stockpile of tins & so on. I did build up the loo-roll stock - about five 9-roll packs, stacked tall, behind the bathroom door - with Brexit & Covid shortages, but have been running them down rather (& lost 9 rolls to the flood!). Ruth has a huge hall, nearly as big as my living room, so buys a 48(?)-box of WGAC which lives down there & gets carried into loos as & when needed.
