Well. That's the end of Memrise chatbot for me. It's fully my fault for not doing due diligence to know exactly which technologies it was based on (GPT-3). The responses have been scripted-feeling enough that I just assumed they were trying to pass some low level phone tree stuff off as schmancy AI.

Here's my final chat from before I found out. I may not be able to spell in all my languages, but I can be sarcastic.

Eventually I will have to brave speaking to a person.
