This isn't any crazy cryptography algorithm (AES, DES, RC4), it was done with paper and pencil. If you like puzzles, have a go at it. If not, feel free to share it.

Kudos to who solves it first.

@AtheistIntelligence is the character on the right border Phi?
@Option8 infinity.
@AtheistIntelligence *crumples paper and starts again*
@Option8 hahaha sorry, working with 8x8 font.
@AtheistIntelligence took a break for a bit, but I'm back at it. I've certainly made progress on what the message is *not* encoded with.

@Option8 haha! I was wondering how easy it would be to break. I ran it through a few online tools to make sure it was safe from easy attacks. It was done with paper and pencil so it's not cryptographically secure.

I'll give you four hints. The Roman numerals not paired with AD is a clue. Dewey is the next step after you figure out clue one. And PI is the third clue. The fourth clue is the secret.

@AtheistIntelligence ah. That does help. Did the references I sent you have any bearing on the puzzle, or were they just "bonus" material?
@Option8 one was a hint to what one word in the plain text is.
@AtheistIntelligence I've either found a bug/mistake or *sigh* yet another layer of message.
@Option8 what do you have so far? There are a few hidden messages, but the final message (the whole body) reverses without issue.
@AtheistIntelligence I don't want to spoil things for anyone else. Can I email or DM you?
@Option8 yeah, give me an email and I'll shoot you a response.
@AtheistIntelligence I mean... I can say I caught the fish. The errors I'm referring to are either off-by-ones or a layer I haven't found yet. For example, the last letter L on line 2
@Option8 nope, that's meant to be there.
