It really makes it clear how there are not enough plants and fungi emoji and how vertebrate animals are overrepresented compared to arthropods.

WHY is there only one kind of ant and only two kinds of beetle? But we have like 8 carnivores, multiple dogs... it's so unfair.

@futurebird that's clearly a very anthropocentric perspective on life. On the other hand, a more faithful view would be unmanageable

I was gonna say, this graphic is great on so many levels aside from a fun depiction of the TOL but also to demonstrate anthropocentric biases in taxonomic sampling!
