Oh, it was my first thought! Since #PRC's hiring of 'actor' protesters re: #Huawei #MengWanzhou journalists have discovered it is widely practiced. Many of the 'truck convoy' protesters were paid throughout the time they were there.

Which brings it full circle back to #PP, who had supportive photo-ops with some of those paid protesters.
