Hooray, apple spice seltzer is finally here! I don't care if it means I'm basic, I look forward to apple spice #season all year long.

#MedinatAmerica = #Satire

@jewwhohasitall I'm afraid of any product in the US that lists "natural flavors" as an ingredient. For instance, I've read in the past of a fruit flavor made from beaver tail. So our fruit-flavored seltzers, unless specifically labeled, may be something for more disgusting and less ethical than we imagined.

I favor Spindrift and other brands that list specific fruit juices in their ingredients. No "natural flavors". More expensive but at least I know what I'm drinking.

@elight @jewwhohasitall Beaver Tail? In Medinat America. Dude, beavers aren't Kosher, gotta be fake news. (You might want to read OP's about info, BTW)

@tptigger @jewwhohasitall it's unlikely, evidently, yet possible. https://www.npr.org/sections/thesalt/2014/03/26/293406191/does-beaver-tush-flavor-your-strawberry-shortcake-we-go-myth-busting

Not "fake news". The FDA allows all manner of ingredients when it says "natural flavors".

If you're vegan, as I am, this means you could be consuming animal living being and believe you're consuming a plant-based food.

@elight @jewwhohasitall My friend, you are totally missing the point of the Jew Who Has it All account.
@tptigger @jewwhohasitall Raised Jewish. Nope don't get it.
@elight @jewwhohasitall If you read the description of the account, you'd see they're posting from the (sadly fictional) Medinat America (State of America) which is predominantly Jewish. So the laws are different. And most people keep kosher. Beavers aren't kosher.
@tptigger @jewwhohasitall that's what that word means. I see. Internet search failed me again.

@elight

Also, the first post you replied to states "satire" at the end of the tags. ๐Ÿ˜‰

@jewwhohasitall So glad to see people excited about things, even if it's just a seltzer flavor. :)
(I prefer plain seltzer, but I see both on the shelves, so ignore the haters and enjoy! :) )
