Pagers compromised SOMEWHERE in Supply Chain, not neccrly mfr, who made more than just 3K pagers, 3K is small num of Hezb operatives & msg can be targeted against known pager numbers in war. Is Hezb == Civilian?
⬆️ Many of those hit were members of #Hezbollah. Not clear if non-Hezbollah members also carried any exploding pagers.
The blasts were mainly in areas where Hezbollah has a STRONG PRESENCE… according to Lebanese security officials and a Hezbollah official.
Hezbollah said that it would CONTINUE its NORMAL strikes against Israel “as in all the past days” as part of what it describes as a support front for its ally, #Hamas, and #Palestinians #inTheirName.
