We are continuing to fix the remaining problems from our site changes, the RSS for the conventions directory should be back up, and the directory search box is back.

We have updated the @pancakescon and @layer_one 2024 conferences with the new header style. Feedback welcome!

InfoCon.org

InfoCon.org is an archive of hacking and security conference videos, documentaries, rainbow tables, word lists and podcasts.

@InfoCon As far as I can tell, no one is seeding the big DC torrent. I (and one other) are stuck at 99.9%. I mostly use the v1, but I grabbed a fresh copy of the v2 yesterday and waited while that checked all the content. Also stuck at 99.9% with no seeders. v4-tracker.infocon.org works.
@bink Yes sorry, it needs to be regenerated. All the DEF CON videos were converted to AV1 format so the giant torrent file is out of date. Hopefully this week, and then again in about a month or so after the DC 32 videos are all out.

@InfoCon Saw the updated torrent timestamp on 10/10, setup my bt client with enough space to grab the new bits, got it going... then noticed that there were no seeds. Did eventually figure out it was the same old torrent. Oh well.

But since I moved the old one out of the way and removed it from the client, I had to recheck that thing before I could turn it back on. When I sat down this morning, it had finished checking, so I resumed it. For about 1.73 seconds, I saw a seed from a 50.x.x.x address (YOU. probably.), but it dropped immediately and I'm left chilling with the same 99.9%ers who've been camping on this thing for weeks and weeks.

@bink On the DEF CON torrent?
@bink The new torrent is showing fully seeding, and it’s on the tracker. Let’s move to DM and can you message me the info hash of the torrent you are stuck on?
