We're on our way home from Italy back to Hamburg, and on the last 130km of our last leg, our train has now decided to cease operations - which means all passengers will soon be evacuated by a fire rescue team ... #Friday13
good reader, the plot thickens ... a new train has been provided to support the rescue efforts. This has been parked next to us, and evacuation is now full steam ahead, with a makeshift gangway between the trains established by the fire brigade that has also joined the efforts.
Looks like we'll be making it home after all 😬
