PaulVideo playback in the #PhotosApp on #iOS18 is just a nightmare now if you want to pause something. and especially not optimal if you do so in landscape. Try pausing to see something while using landscape with expectation of pausing while full screen. you cannot do it. it shrinks the video down before you can even pause. Who thought this was a good #UX? Or am I just missing something. #Apple #Photos #Video
It's the fact that the video moves on you that is so distressing. moves as in shrinks. You can kinda do what you want to pause something. But it's not any better than before. I'd argue it's worse. Especially if you were depending on the video to be full screen. Monday is going to be a shock all around for the general public with the new Photos app. Some cool things about it, but...
