This image is of V1025 Tauri, a triple star system in the Taurus Molecular Cloud some 400-450 light years away; its Gaia EDR3 is 788 ly but that seems unlikely. The photographer noticed some faint nebulosity around the star, took a chance, and ended up with this picture--as an object it is virtually unstudied, with only one other widely available picture that I'm aware of. As with the other stars in the Taurus Molecular Cloud, it's new (perhaps 1 to 2 million years old), and this particular one is a Herbig Ae/Be star--a pre-main sequence type similar to a T Tauri star but destined to be further up the main sequence, type A or B, rather than F-M like the T Tauri type.
