I was woken this morning by the sound of a woman weeping in the wood outside my house. After a careful search I am sure that there was no woman, that it was an auditory hallucination.

Which means I'm crazy bonkers mad again.

Which is not unexpected, but is... actually not very pleasant, frankly.

@simon_brooke Round here, disturbing and apparently human nocturnal sounds usually turn out to be coming from fox cubs.

Oh gosh, that brought back a memory of an early spring, late evening, walk through what is now possibly east #DenmanProspect suburb, in #Canberra.

And there were loud eery unnerving wailing noises. They sounded very close and I was quite worried by them.
