@[email protected] oh yes!

Fast rail really means: no milk runs. Chilliwack to downtown should be no more than six stations — each that tie to transit corridors at each stop.

#FastRail in the Fraser Valley:
could be used by up to 100,000 people daily
Probably 100 times the use of #highspeedrail between YVR and SEA

Continued freeway building wastes time and money.

The solution is better transit, not more car congestion!

Skytrain is a transit corridor, and extremely expensive to build. But if you travel from #Surrey to downtown — basic torture to endure the number of stops. To add the extra ones and astronomically high cost to reach #Langley?

This is a bad transit solution for the region. Ok for neighbouring communities only. Dont get me started on buses

@[email protected] And on #westcoastexpress … OK if you’ve never experienced commuter rail, until you realize these are running on shared low speed freight routes that rock back and forth. Because we have to share we have twice as many cars and locomotives to provide half the service. And diesel? We can do better.

Yes it will be a mega project, but not as big and costly as continued patchwork freeway and bridge building, vehicle costs and lost commuter time. #bcpoli
