Fact, a commitment to release up to 5,000 Taliban prisoners and 1,000 prisoners from the U.S.-backed Afghan government’s side was included February 2020 agreement inked by the Trump administration and the Taliban in Doha. NEVER having consulted the Afghan government. And the US got NO ONE.

-gave $87 billion of US Military equip 2 Taliban
-released 5000 terrorists from jail in exchange for no one

@skykiss it is mind boggling that this doesn’t make everyone in Americas blood boil like mine is. Soooooo many American patriots died fighting in that war and in one stroke of a pen he made all of their sacrifices pointless and gave the people that killed them everything they wanted. @skykiss In June 2021, #WeirdDonOLD took credit for “starting the process” of withdrawal. Crucially, he brags that Biden tried to change the agreement but couldn’t. He is happy that his surrender to the Taliban could not be undone.

trump planned to seal the deal at Camp David on the 2019 anniversary of 9/11 no less! The plan caused such an uproar he rescinded the invite.

Instead in February 2020 after his administration negotiated only with the Taliban while excluding the Afghan government (sound familiar?), he signed the disastrous deal that ultimately led to a debacle under President Biden.
