Re: lb. I'm very excited about the dams around where I live being removed and new protections for endangered fish and freedom for the salmon. It's worth noting that there are still massive water problems in the Klamath Basin. Due to historical (read: white settler) homesteading parceling, poor decision making around water allocation, and other factors (including regular threats of white violence) leading to the wetland refuges falling so far behind farmers on water allocation that they receive no water at all, these refuges are currently drying up, and we're looking at another year of likely massive bird die-offs due to avian botulism. While there are some small farms here, many of them are using this local water to produce food that gets shipped outside the country.
