@drinfosec.bsky.social good thread … but missing that RATs are designed to return a positive result around and above the minimum COVID viral load that’s considered to be infectious. This is different than a PCR test which can measure very tiny levels of COVID that are definitely not infectious. This means the definition of a “false negative” is very different for a PCR test compared to a RAT.
