I used to read fiction constantly, but stopped a number of years ago for some reason. But the one author I can still read without trouble - almost resistance-less - is Rainbow Rowell.

I got a signed copy of her newest book and page TWELVE already cements for me why I have no problem reading her stuff.

The French movie "Delicatessen" is literally one of my favorite movies of all time. Ask my Spouse what my favorite movie is and he'll probably say that one.

Bwahahaha

OK OK. I promise I will NOT live toot the entirety of me reading this book.

But this had me literally snort-laughing.

*closes book*

Yes, good. I cried, as expected. Not sad tears. Being SEEN tears.

Rainbow Rowell knows how to write about a person with too many thoughts in their head that get in the way of living and enjoying your life. The layer of anxiety that makes one too prickly to get too close to. The constant self-denegrating thoughts that get too loud.

They never state it, but the main character really sounds ace. Gray ace. Bi-romantic gray ace. Like me.

Good book.
