Joensuu airport (EFJO) will take the old DME system back to use by September 5th 2024. After this the approach will be possible without working #GPS and thus the problem will be mitigated. #gpsinterference #aviation #airtravel

@nickb333 I'm not intimately familiar with the airport systems there, but at least with the current setup these flights cannot land if the GPS is out. The old DME system is in the process of being restored (it was decommissioned for cost savings). I presume they will do the same for all similarly affected airports near the Russian border.
