TED talks refused to publish a speech by Ukrainian historian and soldier Maksym Osadchuk.
They accused him of "racist", "inflammatory" and "prejudicial" statements.
Maksym, for instance, used the phrase "Russians are being Russians", clearly referring to Russian political strategy and identity and not to ethnicity. Thinking otherwise is what's "prejudicial" here, since there's no grounds for that.
Btw, this racism allegation goes along well with Russian state and media claims about "russophobia".
As a consequence, the local branch - TEDxUCU - decided to shut down it's operations, refusing to agree with this position by TED.
Apparently, people at TED are completely morally bankrupt, imagining Russians as victims of some imagined hate speech while silencing competent Ukrainians on the matters of Russian crimes in Ukraine.
