This direct measurement of sky position does away with the need for multi-star alignment, sky models or other set up. In under one second it can provide precise positioning on any telescope. @lancetay That's nice. I've only ever had a cheapo refractor but can still make out Saturn's rings with it. Once managed to mount a disassembled webcam on it and got a few blurry captures.

Have you got any images from it?

@newt_othis I have not taken any images through it. I think he still needs some kind of poncet on it before so he can track. Makes finding stuff easy. 1 Second updates / resolve, look through EP and there it is.
