My Tuesday started early with a 17km cycle to sculptor Denis O’Connor’s house where we set off to Kilkenny.
He was taking me up to meet friend & artist Liane Lang, see her show at the Butler Gallery & her talk with artist Aideen Barry & Anna O’Sullivan (director Butler Gallery) at the Castle.

Later I went off alone to see the installation by my friend & neighbour Elaine McCague’s ‘The Detached Project’ also a part of Kilkenny Arts Festival.
Waiting to meet Denis by the John’s Bridge these lads decided to jump off the bridge into the River Nore.
No, I didn’t go in.
Time was not on my side to get lost in here for a few hours. 🥺
It was a difficult decision.
I’ll be back.
