Cable companies used to every several months increase your prices by a couple of bucks and claim they're serving you better by shuffling channels (they weren't). Now other services like #SimpliSafe have figured out this game. Before I cut the cable my monthly cost had crept up to about 3 times what it was when I first subscribed. #greed
Jennifer@Nonya_Bidniss yeah and now streaming services are just as bad as cable! I don't get the SimpliSafe bills, I'm going to check ours.
@Jennifer Well looking back I guess it's been a year. But the service is the same. I suppose maybe they have to cover pay increases and benefits for their employees, right? Even thought I'm sure their business has exploded over the past two years. Right...
@Nonya_Bidniss Yeah I think pretty much everyone has had to increase prices some in recent years, but I think it's mostly companies just taking advantage of us.
