Attached: 1 image I've outdone myself this time, by actually launching my little side project! :neocat_surprised: Are you curious how many people with your name - or named Kyle, or Tiffany, or Luna - are out there, and what generation had the most of them? You can go to https://hottest.name, type it in, and find out! There's more features & polish to be added, for sure, but I'm just happy I've finally got it out there :neocat__w_:

@shezza_t 1947. Figures.

@bobcardboard My name’s popularity is younger than me :/
@shezza_t @bobcardboard Same here. 1990

@seanddotmedotuk I feel like a database that used Irish and UK naming records, rather than the US, you might get a different result.

@bobcardboard

@shezza_t @seanddotmedotuk quite likely - mind you the rising popularity of Gillian as the 90s progresses is probably quite easily explained
@shezza_t oddly enough the popularity of adolf dropped off quite a lot after 1940
@shezza_t I love that mine shows what I already knew was the case in the UK: that it was an old person name when I was a kid, but that it gained popularity again this century, so I hear lots of little kids with my name.
@shezza_t so I'm almost the opposite of you - 1984 looks to be when I was *least* popular
@lnr Yup. And even its recent resurgence can’t match its 1920’s popularity.
