I generally do not go to the theater unless it's to an Alamo. One of the warnings given at the beginning of the movie is 'Keep your phone dark, quiet, and out of sight' ... seeing phones out in a theater while watching a movie breaks immersion, and this move by their new owners is a very poor decision. Very disappointing, but not surprising.
