[3 media attachments] As a kid in late 90s I've dreamt about owning Nokia Communicator - futuristic, portable, yet computer-like device that could send e-mails and faxes just easily as text messages, browse the internet and keep all your contacts book along with calendar appointments :nokia: Not that I've had many appointments then... but still! :blobcatcoffee: Back in the day it was an incredible device for the price of the car. Now I managed to score one in good shape on eBay. This Nokia 9110 comes in Swedish language which is impossible to change (can you imagine?) - operating system called PEN/GEOS 3.0 was customized for particular region without an option to override it. By many considered as one of the grandfathers of smartphones, this particular Nokia Communicator was powered by AMD Élan SC450 Am486 processor squeezing 33 MHz, having luxury of 8 MB of storage which was shared: 4 MB for OS and applications, 2 MB for program execution and 2 MB for user data storage, which could as well be expanded with MMC card.
