My #abc (Australia) continues to deliver. While most reputable news sources describe Trump's press conference overnight as "rambling" and "messy", studded with lies and exaggerations, Carrington Clark on ABC Radio flagship "AM" this morning instead dismissed the event as "the usual stuff" from Trump then three times referred to Kamala Harris' "stage-managed events" as being the evidence that Trump is on the moral high ground with his "agreement" now to participate in debates. Clark then went on to speculate that Harris might now have a disastrous debate much as Biden did. A very distorted report from him.

I listen to ABC "AM" out of habit, even though recently it has greatly increased lightweight and cross-promotional pieces, but it seems it's become like other ABC offerings I have already crossed off my list, such as "Insiders" and "Q&A".

Yikes, the poisonous fruit of the #ItaButtrose years continue to ripen.

Wish I had confidence that poisonous grafted branches would be pruned off, and Ita's plantings ripped out.

Is #AlboMP doing the necessary?
Or is he letting the ABC continue going to the dogs?

ABC news people know that if they faithfully toe the Murdoch line they won't get in trouble or even lose their jobs, but if they dare stray from that even a tiny little bit (aka Lattouf, Tingle, Chavastek) they will be excoriated by their own management and by (surprise surprise) the Murdoch empire.
