Collaborating with #varietalbeerco, #trapdoorbrewing has released Showed Up. Brewed to be a West Coast-style IPA, the result is a beer with notes of tropical citrus, lemon grass, and pine. As it warms up more is revealed.

Out of the can, Showed Up produces a hefty amount of off-white head, resting on a bed of orange opaqueness. Receding, there remains a crown of lacing inside the glass.
Swirling and sniffing, we recover fresh cut grass, some lemongrass, a cannabis funkiness, and some tropical citrus.
Sipping, we recover notes of tropical mango, vanilla orange cream, more cannabis funkiness, and a pine finish. Overall, Showed Up has a medium to strong mouthfeel, notes of alcoholic warmth, and a lingering bitterness accented by dryness.
