The #UK is still #rationing #NHS #2024 #AutumnBooster for #Covid.
You could #pay if you trust the #vaccination source (is it the best jab for latest #variants, what are their #hygiene standards, have they stored the #vaccine correctly). Most of you don't matter in the #uk. Lives are ruined by #longcovid & a long list of potentially devastating conditions even from mild #COVID19.

@Delphi

I did have a look at a private vaccine.
It costs between about £60 to £100 at a local pharmacy. You get a choice of two vaccines.
They do flu vaccines so the hygienne should be OK.

Boots also have a service.

@Havant_Enviro I had my flu jab at that well known pharmacy. The pharmacist went out of the room to wash his hands then turned the door handle to get back in before prepping & giving the injection. Not good enough for a clinician as he should understand basic clinical hygiene.
Unfortunately we don't have £60-£100 per person to pay (we also can't afford a private dentist, which is the only sort available in our location nowadays).

@Delphi

I haven't had a vaccine. My finances are tight until the new year when I'll start geting some pension.

@Havant_Enviro Hope you can stay safe until then. I'm waiting to see if my medical retirement application is approved (Trigeminal Neuralgia). If it isn't I have 3 years before I get my pension.

@Delphi @Havant_Enviro

Bloody hell! Washes hands, uses door handle then preps for to carry out a job???!!!

Not a professional.

If they worked at anywhere serving food, wonder how many hygiene stars would be given.

Standards levels moving toward 3rd world status.
