She posted an image of PMJT crying when speaking about the death of beloved Canadian singer Gord Downie.

@CanadianCrone #Calgary MP Michelle Rempel Garner lives in the USA for most of the year. Perhaps thats why you hardly see/hear from her anymore. Until today's attack that is. PP must be rallying the troops.

FYI Jerra Kosick (nee Byrne), sister of #Poilievre's current chief strategist Jenni Byrne, is/was chief of staff for MP Michelle Rempel.

Jerra Kosick was also policy advisor to MP Poilievre before he was crowned Conservative leader.

Ms. Kosick's husband, Dan Kosick, also worked for MP Poilievre and was found to have breached the Conflict of Interest Act after leaving government.

It's probably unsurprising that the Cons unsuccessfully attempted to co-opt the "weird" meme to attack the Liberals. Sadly, I don't think the Liberals can use it effectively either. It won't connect with Canadians in the same way & it doesn't apply as obviously to the Cons (PP is a little too media-savvy).

I really do hope that Canada can flip the script like the US has done. We need our own Harris to rally around (remembering we have yet to see the November US election results).
