That's a lovely photo, but it looks much more like a #thrush than a #pipit. I'm not a #us #birder but maybe Swainson's or Hermit?

@dhobern You could be right. Someone else identified it as a pipit and we have pipit around here. I'll look further into it. Thanks for the suggestions :)
