Doctor not too concerned today, I’ll work today and will probably start remotely before I find out if I need to head into the office for floorwalking

Also in “I do not [expletives deleted] BELIEVE this” news, I stepped on the scales in the doctor’s office. With shoes on but having ditched jacket, wallet, and keys.

74kg.

Are you [expletives deleted] kidding me? Seriously? 74kg?

#PostStrokeDiet

I am, for the moment, sticking with the lite meal plans from #LiteNEasy but if I lose TOO much more weight, I’ll have to seriously consider upgrading the calorie content to the standard meal plans. #PostStrokeDiet

I mean, when the dietician I was seeing set a target of 72, I called bullshit and suspected BMI style #junkScience but if I actually get there I almost certainly will want to STOP there.

As it is, I’m definitely going to be feeling zero guilt over any post gym indulgences for a while now… #PostStrokeDiet

@arcadiagt5 Yeah, BMI is bleah. Especially since you're still doing the gym yeah? So probably have some of it due to muscle.

@ariaflame The thing is my gym sessions tend to be relatively light, they’re nothing like cross fit sessions and we haven’t been doing a huge amount of lifting on account of needing to do back/neck recovery physio exercises.

I would like to get to a 60Kg Bench as a one rep max though, that would be nice and, I think, doable.

@arcadiagt5 Also everything in moderation. Including decadence.
@ariaflame Oh absolutely: no gym, no indulgence. :)
@arcadiagt5 I remember when I was that light. I bulked up a bit over the last few years. I'm blaming time of life.
@ariaflame Happens to us all I suspect to greater or lesser extent. I mean I was 100+, which was definitely WAAAY too much for me. Plus I’m effectively the PERFECT demographic for #LiteNEasy: single, never cooked, way too reliant on takeaway/deliver - the model of 21 meals delivered in an esky that are, if not great, at least consistently decent and edible (when I’m not suffering from whatever this nausea thing is) is great and sustainable.
@ariaflame Once I had the wake up call of the #TransientIschaemicAttack it became a solid solution to problems that I just hadn’t realised the full extent of.
@arcadiagt5 True, I tend to the 'make food for myself' model. The trick I suspect is portions. I'm making myself a nice vegetable and lentil stew tonight, so it's healthy at least.
@arcadiagt5 My gym also dropped during covid because the other people there weren't being safe. And because even when it went back it had dropped off my habits, so I do my Zumba, but not so much weights etc.
