@golgaloth very serious. My world is the #DragonKingsProject where simply casting an arcane spell can have dire consequences even if it is successful and the gods abandoned Khitus long ago so there’s no guarantees that a divine spell will even work at all.

@golgaloth "Magic" is a word used to describe ancient technology that is in the process of disappearing. Knowledgeable people still know how to operate some of it, but nobody understands how it works, or is able to repair, let alone replicate it. As these artifacts run out of power, break, or otherwise stop to function, magic moves from something common, to being a rare, priceless commodity.
