Today in Labor History July 24, 2017: The Queer Insurrection and Liberation Army (TQILA) was established in Rojava, Syria to combat the persecution of LGBT people by ISIL. The TQILA was a queer anarchist subunit of the IRPGF, who fought alongside the Kurdish People's Defense Units (YPG).
