Looking at you #Argos, #Asda - and believe it or not #TSOHost, a web-host who you'd think would know better

@tinmouth @BicycleBen Yes, TSOHost went sharply down hill when Go Daddy took over. These days, I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole...

@BicycleBen @kim_harding oh, don’t get me started, and there is a particularly evil variation on this: a company that will accept a mailbox email when you sign up, but will not accept it for password resets. Given that nobody nowadays will let you open an account without sending you a confirmation link, there is absolutely no point doing any email address validation whatsoever.
