I wonder how many parsecs per gallon of dilithum it gets?

#StarTrek #TNG #Shuttlecraft made out of a minivan

@spocko whatever it is, it definitely costs a buttload of latinum ... am I right.

@spocko

I'd be hesitant to ride in it. Almost every episode involving a shuttle craft, especially if returning from a conference, means someone is in trouble.

@SecularJeffrey Yes. NEVER GO TO A CONFERENCE!

Like in Apocalypse Now, “Never get out of the boat. "

Although I loved the one with Worf & the multiverse.

@spocko

Especially when Troi unties Worf's hair and kisses him. The reaction is GLORIOUS!

@spocko @SecularJeffrey
My wife used to love watching "Merlin". Invariably if a group left on horseback the next scene would be their arrival at destination (some other town or whatever). But if the next scene was a forest glade...

"Ambush!"
"What??"
"They're about to get ambushed."
"Have you seen this episode before?"
"No."
*party gets ambushed"
"How did you??"

Next episode.
Forest glade.
"Ambush!"
"STOP DOING THAT!"

@DenOfEarth @spocko @SecularJeffrey

I just use the creepy or aggressive music cues in any show to warn me something cool is gonna happen.

@DenOfEarth @SecularJeffrey Mrs Spocko & watch a lot of murder mysteries. That means we can often guess the plot, the plan and the murderer. (One method is conservation of characters. After a certain amount of time only so many people are going to be left who could be the murderer.) I'm good at predicting dialog. For example, if the murderer is caught by the police, but they think they are clever, they will say "You have no evidence!" Which leads to the police reveal of the evidence.
@spocko @SecularJeffrey Eeee, I would watch a "making of" video for that.
@Cassandra @spocko @SecularJeffrey I would love to see this in action! Also can someone make a minivan Delta Flyer model next?

@spocko

Just because Dr Erin Macdonald has made such a point of clarifying this in Prodigy - Dilithium is not the fuel, it’s what controls the antimatter/matter reaction.

Let’s just substitute antimatter or exotic matter for dilithium, and I’m with you.

And I’d also be reluctant to go anywhere in it that didn’t have a nice breathable atmosphere and moderate climate conditions.
