@csilverman this is absolutely poetic, given that I was affected by the Azure outage last night and am watching the dumpster fire that is Crowdstrike today

@echolocation Yikes. I'm sorry. I hope it wasn't anything serious.

This is just such a mess. I hope we learn from it.

@csilverman it was pretty serious - it was our CMS (customer management system) that was down - but we were still able to help customers thankfully via a legacy system we have. I hope we learn from this and maintain better redundancy
@csilverman 不管老天喜或怒,淡定手中一杯茶。
Whether God is happy or angry, calm down a cup of tea in my hand.
@csilverman still chuckling at this an hour later, thanks - it's beautiful
@csilverman Epic. Iconic.

@skry Literally! If I were an IT person, this is the last thing I'd want to see; as a designer, I have to appreciate the distinctiveness of the Microsoft design here. I think the drawing wouldn't have had the same effect if Windows still used the old DOS-style error screen.

(I have a weird fascination with error/crash UI design for some reason, as you might have guessed from my avatar)

@csilverman now I need this in a 16:9 desktop wallpaper aspect
@bignose Yeah, that would be cool. On my list.
@csilverman the world is trapped in darkness~
@csilverman this is what it feels like... when Windows 10 ends their support
