During the past few weeks, we have been working at the site of La Celadilla in Ademuz (Valencia). #Magnetometry and #GPR have been used to survey the area, with the support of @NTNU, @ArqueologiaUV and the Ayuntamiento de Ademuz.

La Celadilla is an Iberian hillfort strategically placed to overlook the surrounding area. According to the archaeological work carried out since 2008, the site was inhabited between the 5th and 4th centuries BCE and abandoned after a major fire.

We are almost done with the magnetometer, but more work remains with the GPR. We hope that the data collected will provide interesting insights into the understanding of this remarkable Iberian settlement.
