Kids here are great... Festive kids!! And they remembered my clowning icebreakers from last year.. 7 hours of fun and excitement.

Great God Masks and Japanese Drumming. The guy up on the big drum moved like in the mythic Kagura dances. He was a nice guy too. I talked with him before this not knowing who he was... Be great to learn Taiko someday... I was recruited as the crazy god twice in the Takachiho Yokagura all-night god-dancing. It's hard to move and be competent in a mask like that. Gotta get used to looking down through the nose holes and a narrow field of vision... Makes this impressive!
