@justyourluck never stopped. Everything that comes in is unpacked and sterilized either by wiping down (stuff that needs to go in the fridge for example, items we need to use immediately) or left to the side for a few days.

Good for you! I used to have a system but I also used to have a garage where I could let things sit for a bit. Just need to adapt a little now.

Actually, yes, I have slacked, too, as when it comes to packages, etc. Always still mask, N95; that's total must. I get a good amount of necessities shipped, and groceries, I pick-up. Back, 2020, kept a cart at side gate-- would unload groceries, wheel on cart to patio. Wipe down whatever had to come in, left other stuff sit on patio a few days. Now, it's too f'g hot to let anything sit out. If it's a food package I am about to use, I mostly do give it the alcohol wipe. I keep a jar of alcohol in my purse, use for when get gas. Have never caught Covid. I am an elderly hermit. 🫤😷😷

Congratulations for never catching Covid! I'll never forget the day I really got super serious about wiping all deliveries down, when a van drove up and a woman got out and brought the groceries to the door while her children, opened the van door and started spitting sunflower seeds out on the road and they were all grubby messy kids. 😱

Thanks but unfortunately I've had it twice. May 2020 and 2022. Long Covid from the 1st + more from the second. I'm way better off than most but it's what keeps me yelling. Lol Nobody should have it. So I will take your congratulations for not getting it for over 2 years! You take care as well. 💞💞

I know what you mean. I had been getting grocery delivery last year, but I couldn't keep affording it. Had to go back to pick-up, which is fine. Yes, I had a treasure trove of delivery people I could see from my window. And every one/group of them were driving beautiful new cars, as my 20 year old RAV sits in the driveway.

Yeah I hear ya. My understanding is they lease a new car, beat it to death delivering and keep getting a new one so the end of the lease. Cost of doing business I guess.
