Sutton to the Hill of Howth.
Queues and great excitement in Sutton as passengers vie to get one last trip on a tram from Sutton to Howth. The service was suspended on 31 May 1959 and replaced by a bus service.
The two motorists are C.F. Grant and J. Nugent in a 1910 Swift.
Sunday, 31 May 1959. The National Library of Ireland. No known copyright restrictions.

@LornaPeel and here's a still photo. Not a very good photo, sadly, but there are so many exhibits on display, there's little room to step back for a photo! 😁
