📺 July 12, 2012: The 14th season of reality competition "Big Brother" (#BB14) premiered on CBS.

Twelve new houseguests entered the game, split into four teams and each led by "coaches"/returning houseguests: BB2/BB7's Mike "Boogie" Malin, BB6/BB7's Janelle Pierzina, BB10's Dan Gheesling and BB12's Britney Haynes.

On Day 27, the "coaches” turned in to competing houseguests themselves, vying for the $500,000 grand prize.
