At this week’s drop in instead of doing #DND we dd a Candela Obscura (CO) oneshot. I used the premade "weird” and off we went.

I had 30 seconds to come up with a story that included motivation and goals, So my guy (Ace) was a hobo living in a dumpster with his dog (Spot). Some sort of magic hit the dumpster and it turned into a monster that ate my dog. My goal was to protect animals from suffering. #CandelaObscura #TTRPG… (1/3)

My first move in the game was trying to distract the enemy by tripping another player into an innocent. But because of the way the NPCs were reacting to us (they were addicted to something that would kill them soon and only reacted to individual threats) I upgraded him to a full-on murder hobo. If you were in his way, you were going to die anyway so he'd just kill you. #CandelaObscura #TTPRPG… (2/3)

CO allows you to "find" up to three items in your pack. I “found” a longsword, and as the story approached the chaos the DM had intended the DM provided us with a light saber. I got to it first.

And that's how the DM actually encouraged me to became Darth Murder Hobo.

I took four body, three brain and three bleed. Three is the max before earning a scar, but the fourth body was on the last roll of the game. #CandelaObscura #TTRPG (3/3)
